Fejfar Movie Review of Robin Hood

Pictured above is Russell Crowe as Robin Hood, in the current movie, and the older Errol Flynn as Robin Hood, in a much older movie.

The Robin Hood Movie with Russell Crowe has as its high point, outstanding medeival battle scenes. The portrayal of Robin Hood and his Merry Men in Sherwood Forest is fine. The weak aspect of the movie is that King Richard the Lionhearted is portrayed as a jerk, and, as dying in a battle in France, never returning to England. In fact, Richard the Lionhearted is credited for being the driving force behind the enactment of Magna Charta (1215), the British Constitution. Richard was obviously involved, and, probably signed Magna Charta as Pope Innocent III, a Crusader Pope who received his Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of Bologna, in Italy. The movie is definitely worth seeing. I am looking forward to the sequel where Good King Richard, miraculously recovered from his wound in France, and returned to England to help bring about the British Constitution, Magna Charta, guaranteeing every Englishman the Natural Rights of Life, Liberty, and Property, and the right not to exiled, except with a Jury Trial of one's Peers, and under the Law of the Land, which is the English Common Law governed by the Rule of Reason.
